MAEK (pronounced make) was started out of pure necessity to create. Curiosity and passion to explore where design can take you is a key motivator for us. We look to push the boundaries of what we create by bringing good design systems to many different applications

Diana Druhora, the founder and creative director of MAEK Design Studio, started out in the design field where she completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design in Toronto. After working on interior design projects for 7 years, she wanted to pivot and create a studio that focuses on experimentation to create handcrafted pieces.

Our pieces are made-to-order, with each item being our primary focus when being built from start to finish. We pride our collection in being high quality, sustainable, and long lasting.
